Have Been Eating Melindas For 20 Years Or More. Not Super Hot, But It'S My Favorite All Around Sauce, Especially For Blackened Fish And Meat, And Any Cajun Food. Mixing Melinda'S And Melted Butter Is Great For A Dipping For Mud Bugs, Shrimp, Or Even Lobster

So Melinda'S Marketing Team May Have Got A Bit Carried Away With Calling This Xxxxtra Reserve - Implying Four X The Heat I Guess?? Of What, It'S Not Too Clear.. I Would Say It'S A Medium Heat At Best. The Vinegar Aroma Is A Bit Strong With This One, But The Sweetness Of The Carrots And Onions Help Keep The Vinegar At Bay. It'S One Of My Favorite Chunky Style, Sweet-Hot Sauces

Excellent Sauce
I Have Bought Many Brands Of Hot Sauce And I Find That Any Melinda'S Is My Favorite. Melinda'S Sauce Is Not The Hottest, But In My Opinion, It By Far Has The Best Flavor That I Have Tried So Far. I Like To Use This 4X Sauce To Cook With Since My Girlfriend Can'T Handle Very Hot Foods. I Find This Sauce Works The Best.
