Iguana Red Moderately Hot Cayenne Pepper Sauce, 5oz.: Our classic red pepper sauce radiates what we call "the perfect heat." (In other words, it's as hot as we like to eat in mass quantities on a daily basis). The cayenne flavor and heat take you there and back quickly while still allowing the other flavors their full glory. With a rich tomato and carrot base, Iguana Red also contains onion, garlic, a touch of molasses and other spices. We love it on shrimp, chicken, eggs, French fries, beans and rice, vegetable dishes and whatever!
Made in Costa Rica.
Ingredients: Water, Cayenne Peppers, Vinegar, Carrots, Cane Sugar, Salt, Tomato Paste, Molasses, Corn Starch, Caramel Color, Onions.

Iguana Red
I first discovered the Iguana Red at a mercado in Alajuela CR in 2003. It is my go to medium hot sauce because of the heat and flavor. Other sauces I've tried either have heat or flavor but not both. I keep coming back to and enjoying this for Mexican food and soups especially.

Tasty And Hot
Iguana Red Has A Pretty Good Flavor And Descent Heat. Not Mouth Blistering, But Hot Enough. Would Recommend To Others.

Delicious Sauce
Not Very Hot, But Very Very Good. It Has A Bit Of Spice In The Taste But The Flavor Overtakes It. I Will Buy Another Bottle After I'M Finished With Mine For Sure.

Finally A Low Sodium Hot Sauce
When I Started On A Severely Reduced Sodium Diet...All My Salsas And Hot Sauces Had To Go. Iguana Cayanne Pepper Sauce Was My Savior. At 10Mg Sodium Per Serving I Put It On Everything. I Live In Fear Of Finding Out Its A Typo. It Truly Has Been Instrumental In Keeping Me On My New Diet.
