Iguana Gold Golden Habanero Island Pepper Sauce, 5oz.: The habanero gods have smiled on Half Moon Bay, and the result is Iguana Gold, a medium-hot, deliciously tangy habanero and mustard-based Bajan-West Indian-style pepper sauce. Fresh onion, garlic, carrot, cucumber, mustard and aromatic spices help tone down the heat a little on this complex habanero blend to give it a higher-than-typical “utility rate” – in other words, it's good on almost everything. This “down island” pepper sauce features seductive flavor that will keep home chefs and connoisseurs alike coming back for more. Our mascot Iggy couldn't agree more.

Ingredients: Cayenne Peppers, Cane Sugar, Vinegar, Carrots, Salt, Onions, Cucumbers, Habanero Peppers, Corn Starch, Mustard, Cumin and Other Spices, Garlic, and Ascorbic Acid.

    Hot And Tasty

Iguana Gold Is A Very Flavorful Sauce With Just The Right Amount Of Heat. Different From The Run Of The Mill Hot Sauces. I'Ve Given It As A Gift And The Recipients Have Really Liked It.

    Pretty Ok

Incredibly Mild, Especially For A Habanero Sauce. The Consistency Is Similar To A Good Mustard And The Flavor Is Excellent, But If Heat Is Your Thing Then Go Somewhere Else. This Sauce Makes Otherwise Bland Foods Taste Great, But I Wouldn'T Add It To Anything That Already Has A Complicated Flavor. The Flavor And Consistency Is Great, But I Can Only Give It 3 Stars On Account Of The Lack Of Heat.

    Nice Cumin Taste

The Flavor/Heat Balance Is Excellent, And The Not-So-Subtle Cumin Flavor Makes It Different From Many Other Hot Sauces.

    Gold For Some

This Sauce Was Actually On The Average Side. Flavor Was Ok With A Hint Of Sweetness. Heat Was Below Average. Taste Best When Mixed With Salsa, Like Sweet Dipping Sauce For Chips. I Think They Could Have Done A Better Job.

    Great Stuff

I Think This Sauce Is The Bomb! Has A Sweet Vinegar Kick (Cane Sugar Vinegar) To It Which Is Why I Like It. Discovered It At The Guilded Iguana In Nosaro, Costa Rica.

    Nice Heat Level, But

I Don'T Really Care For The Flavor. It'S More On The Sweet Side, And I Just Can'T Find What It'S Good With. I Keep Trying..It'S Not That I Dislike It, But I Can'T Find What Compliments It.
