Heartbreaking Dawn's 1498 Apricot & Scorpion Hot Sauce Review:

Heartbreaking Dawns 1498 Apricot & Scorpion Hot Sauce, (5oz./148ml): Well here it is!! Get ready for the Ultimate journey of flavor and fire with our first release of 2011, "1498," Heartbreaking Dawns original Trinidad Scorpion Hot Sauce. We've taken a high percentage of fresh Trinidad Scorpion Peppers and balance them out with some Scotch Bonnets, creating a very high heat that drops off just before becoming TOO uncomfortable. To accent the burst of floral notes from the Scorpion Peppers we've created a full journey of flavors that includes Apricot, Blueberry and Carrot. This sauce reflects a full gallery of taste sensations, with a bold high heat, that will compliment every and any dish you can think up!!!

Ingredients: Trinidad Scorpion Peppers, Scotch Bonnet Peppers, Cider Vinegar, Apricot Preserves, Water, Blueberries, Carrots, Honey, Onion, Soy Sauce, Sea Salt, Garlic, Ginger, White Pepper.

    Amazing

I Love This Stuff, Great Flavor/Heat Combination. Seems To Dip Off Just At The Right Moment. The Combination Of Fruits Mixed With The Betters Gives It A Nice Taste That I Personally Haven'T Experienced Before.

I Didn’T Find This Sauce All That Hot But I Would Buy It Again. It Goes Well With Fruits, Salads And Light Meats. What It Lacks In Spice, It Makes Up For With Fantastic Flavor.

Not As Hot As I Thought It Would Be

For A Trinidad Scorpion Pepper Sauce, Its Not Spicy At All. Dave'S Gourmet Insanity Sauce Is Hotter Than This. Flavor Is Pretty Good But Dave'S Wins In That Category As Well.

    Expected More

It Is A Very Good Heat, Nice Flavor, And The Heat Does Not Seem To Spread. It Lasts A Good Bit Too. You Can Taste The Fruitiness Of The Chili, But Also Something... Else. I Have To Be Honest Though, It Is Not Hot Like A Trinidad Scorpion Sauce Should Be. I'Ve Got Wal-Mart Elyucateco Habanero Sauce That'S Hotter. Or Perhaps That Heat Just Spreads More? Either Way, I Love The Sauce For Dipping, Just Not What I Expected.

This Was My First Tango With Any Scorpion Based Product And I Felt Let Down In Regards To Heat. The Flavor, However, Is Very Good So I'Ll Be Back For More In The Future.

Thought It Would Be Much Hotter Than It Actually Is. Good Flavor With A Bit Of Heat

Heartbreaking Dawn’S 1498 Trinidad Scorpion Pepper

The Sauce Has A Good Flavor. The Only Issue With The Flavor I Didn'T Like Was The Apple Cider Vinegar! If They Made A Version Of The Sauce Without The Apple Cider Vinegar It In My Opinion Would Be Better Maybe They Could Use Regular Vinegar.
