    Sudden Death Sauce

I Just Got This Sauce In Today And Tried It And Oh, It'S One Of The Best Hot Sauces Ever! The Flavor Is Just Fantastic And The Heat Is Intense But Not Unbearable. It Doesn'T Seem Hot At First But Then The Heat Gradually Builds And Builds Until Finally You'Re Needing A Cold Drink. In My Opinion, Sudden Death Tastes Better Than Mega Death Although A Bit Less Hot. I Will Be Enjoying This Stuff For A Long Time.

    Great Sauce

I Have The Limited Edition 20/20 Version Of Sudden Death, Which Is 20% Hotter To Celebrate Blair'S 20Th Anniversary. I Have Quite A Few Hot Sauces On Hand At The Moment And I Use This More Than Any Other. It'S Hot, But It'S Not Excruciating. I Can Actually Pour This On A Burrito And Get Through It Without Too Much Pain. The Original Sudden Death Won'T Be As Hot As My Version, And In My Opinion, My Version Barely Deserves 4 Flames Of Heat. The Original Sudden Death Should Have 3 Flames, Not 4. Although, If You Are Not As Accustomed To Eating Hot Stuff As I Am, You May Find This Much Hotter. Flavor-Wise, This Has A Really Nice Pepper Flavor That Compliments Everything I Have Put It On So Far. It'S Made With Siberian Ginseng, But It'S Not Distinguishable In The Flavor. The Aroma Is A Mix Of Pepper And Vinegar. Thankfully The Flavor Is More On The Pepper Side, As I Don'T Particularly Care For Really Vinegary Hot Sauces. Overall, A Great Sauce.

    Holy Hannah! This Is Hot!

When I Got This In I Was So Excited Since Blair'S Original Didn'T Pack As Much Heat As I Hoped. I Sampled This On A Toothpick And At First I Thought It Wasn'T So Bad, So I Sampled Again, And Bam! My Whole Mouth Felt On Fire. It Wasn'T Like Horrible But The Heat Was Definitely There. I Liked The Taste A Lot. I Actually Kind Of Enjoy The Extract Taste And Feel. I Just Put 2 Drops In A 16 Oz Jar Of Mild Salsa And It Definitely Kicked It Up A Notch.

    Sudden Death Packs A Wallop

Posted by Thomas Maxwell on Aug 4th 2009

I Am Surprised That This Hot Sauce Only Got 3 Flames For Heat. For Me, This Is My Threshold For What I Can Pour On Food From Blairs...Everything Else Needs To Be Diluted (Like The Mega Or Ultra Death). But A Thin Pour Of Sudden Death Over A Burrito Or A Taco Really Does It For Me. I Would Make Sure You Have Some Yogurt Or Milk Close By Because The Heat Builds After Each Bite And As The Air Goes Over Your Tongue It'S Going To Seem Like It Is On Fire. And It Will Stay On Fire For The Next 20 Minutes Or So. Like Blairs Motto Says: Feel Alive.

I Got A 4 Pack Sampler From Blairs. This One Is Pretty Dang Hot! I Sampled Straight From The Bottle & Left My Mouth With A Good Burn For About 10 Minutes. Last Night I Put A Couple Drops In A Can Of Beer. Totally Ruined It. I Drank It Down, Poured In Some Fresh Beer To Minimize The Heat, Still To Hot, Put Some V8 In It, Still To Hot...I Ended Up Throwing The Beer Out. I Still Like The Sauce Though, & Can'T Wait To Try It On Chicken Wings!

    Oh Those Cryin Eyes

Only 3 Flames On The Heat Index? Poured A Puddle On The Plate With The Plain White Rice. 3 Or 4 Fork Fulls And It Was Going Down Easy. Flavor Was Good And I Was Starting To Think 3 Flames Might Have Been To Many. The Next Fork Full And Somebody Threw A Lit Match In My Mouth. Dang If It Didn'T Set A Blaze To All The Fuel From Before. Whew Eee!!! Now That Got The Endorphins Going. Cant Wait To Put It In My Salsa.
